Welcome to this small patch to fix certain issues that occur in the game 
Echo Night: Beyond for PlayStation 2.

This patch is a backport of many of the fixes the Spanish fan translation 
project did to the game, and I thought it would be a bit unfair if the rest 
of the world could not have a cleaner experience with this underrated gem.

Just like the Spanish fan translation patch, there are patches for both the 
European PAL version (published by Nobilis/Indie Games) and for the US 
NTSC-U version (published by Agetec, who handled the English localization of 
the game).

The fixes are minor: sometimes cosmetic, sometimes of more importance, but 
the game never needed those to be played from start to finish (except the 
mistake in the astronaut's dialogue at the monorail).

While the most visible fixes have been made to Agetec's English 
localization, this patch also changes some of the world's textures, as those 
English texts were written by From Software's developers, based in Japan, 
and thus they are a bit Engrishy. I was not able to edit all the graphics I 
wanted (there is a weird swizzling method in some of the textures), so you 
might still find something odd.

Tip: I strongly recommend playing this game with the Key Assign type C, as 
it includes dual-stick movement and camera controls, just like what has been 
standardized nowadays.

If you wish to distribute these patches or upload them on your website, 
please contact me (IlDucci) first. Under no circumstances we allow any 
public distribution of copies of the full game with the patch already 
applied. This fix is made to be distributed in patch form and to be used by 
all legitimate owners of the original game.

       - The menu font's bugged uppercase characters have been corrected.
       - The menu font's Cyrillic characters now have variable widths.
       - Fixed a bug where the spacesuit's map function would show nothing
         when entering the Dispensary's rooms.
       - Fixed the text overflow in the Operating Room's computer screen.
       - Edited many incorrect English texts inherited from the Japanese 
         version's Engrish.
       - Edited some incorrect English texts from the game's environments.
       - Edited some mistakes on the English localization.
       - Added some missing world descriptions straight from the Japanese
         version.
       - Changed one subtitle within the Linear transport to fix the actual 
         meaning of the scene. The voice clip remains unchanged.
